Bad experience at Burj Malabar Auto Maintenance.
I went in for a misfiring issue, and they kept changing parts without fixing the real problem, then gave me a huge bill (Photo attached). When I questioned the charges, they behaved unprofessionally.
My car issue is still not solved. I don’t recommend this place.
Later I went to another mechanic he cleaned the fuel injector and the problem is solved just for below AED 100

I had a very disappointing experience today at Burj Kerala Auto Maintenance, which is part of the same group and behind of Burj Malabar Auto Maintenance.

About a month ago, I visited for some repair work. They replaced the brake shoe, side indicator light cover and brake light, charging me 800 AED, which I felt was quite expensive. At that time, a minor issue with the inside car door open/close light was left unresolved. They told me to return later for that.

I followed up and visited again yesterday, and they asked me to come the next morning. I did so and one mechanic came and checked the issue and asked me to leave the car. Since I had come from a long distance, I requested them to do it while I waited no matter the time you take I’ll wait here, by hearing this they said they were too busy they kept giving excuses and said to leave the car here or take to another garage.

Eventually, after insisting and waiting for over 2 hours, his supervisor asked his another mechanic to check and resolve the issue. While checking and It turned out to be a very simple fix — a white pin had come out of the holder. He reattached it and all this work took less than 10 minutes, but while doing so, he broke the light holder, and then claimed it was already broken — which was not true, as I had checked it myself.

Despite the minimal work done, I was charged 50 AED just for putting the pin back. When I questioned it, I was told that his colleague would have charged more (100–200 AED) by adding extra work or creating other reasons.

In the end, I paid and came back— but I felt the entire experience was unprofessional, disorganized and overpriced.

I regret wasting my time and money at Burj Kerala Auto Maintenance and would not recommend this place based on my experience and please don’t leave your car with them they can say some other stories and charge you more.
